The main event was announced earlier this month and is a battle between the promotion’s only two absolute grand prix champions, Nicky Rodriguez and Mason Fowler.

This alone is a pretty huge match for both men, as it gives them a chance to decide who is the ultimate UFC Fight Pass Invitational absolute champion. The co-main event is also being contested without a weight limit and is set to be an interesting matchup as Luke Griffith gets the chance to face Kainan Duarte.
Griffith isn’t the only New Wave Jiu-Jitsu competitor who will compete in the event, as his teammate Giancarlo Bodoni will step on the mats just before him. Bodoni will face Gabrielle Arges and one of the youngest members of the team, Helena Craver, will face an incredibly tough challenge against fellow ADCC trials winner Aurelie Le Verne. There’s sure to be plenty of entertainment throughout the card, as notoriously entertaining grapplers Renato Canuto and Jacob Rodriguez take on Aaron Wilson and Ronaldo Jr., respectively.
